This is your registration form for the Mid South Scrappers (MSS) All Day and Into the Night Crop at Comfort Suites. There are 20 spaces available at this!

Rebates Will Continue! For each new person that you refer, i.e. someone that has never been to one of my events and registers to come to a crop, you will receive a $5 Rebate Bucks certificate to be used towards your next crop fee for each new cropper. A maximum of $20 can be submitted per event’s registration.

Meals, Snacks & Beverages: You will be “on your own” for your meals, snacks and beverages for both this event. We will be provided with ice, coffee and water for the event.

Tables: You will have a ‘seminar’ table to yourself. These tables are 6 feet long x 18 inches deep.

Please note: If you are going to bring your Cricut, Silhouette or other electronic equipment, please bring an extension cord to plug it in. You will also need to dedicate a portion of your crop space for it.

Table Light: My suggestion is that you will need to bring a table light for either crop.

Hello Everyone ~

So much has happened since my last newsletter. First and foremost, our family was dealt a tragic blow with the death of my precious nephew in a car accident last Sunday, February 20th. Matthew is my brother, Larry and sister-in-law Kathy Johnson's oldest son. Kathy is also co-host at my events, so quite a few of you know her. Please keep them and our extended family in your prayers.

As far as scrappin' stuff, there's a lot going on so I'll cover those in the topics below.

2-Day Crop at St. Stephens United Methodist Church
Friday, March 18th and Saturday, March 19th

Come join us at St. Stephens! You're welcome to come on one or both days and it's during Spring Break, so this is working well for my teachers! The hours are 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. both days. The Friday ONLY fee is $15, the Saturday ONLY fee is $20 and to crop both days is $30. (Please note that I will not be offering a workshop at this event.)

You will be 'on your own' for your meals, snacks and beverages for this event. We do have access to a refrigerator, microwave and ice machine so bringing a sack lunch is very convenient.

A registration form with your fee is required and needs to be in to me by Wednesday, March 16th at the very latest. We need 10 croppers to make this crop happen and we're half way there already. A portion of your fee is being paid to the church, so let's make this one happen! Please email me for the form if you don't already have one at: terry@midsouthscrappers.com.

We'll have two vendors ... Heather Johnston is our Creative Memories Consultant for the event as she was at the last St. Stephens crop. I will have my Close To My Heart product line there as well.

2nd Annual Scrapper's Summer Camp!
Friday, June 10th - Sunday, June 12th!

Registration will open for our next scrappin' weekend, Scrapper's Summer Camp, beginning Monday, March 7th! Your $50 deposit will stake your claim on your space for this event. Pajama Crop Party attendees will have first dibs on their spaces so we'll see what's left come Sunday night.

The 'Luxury Option' will be the only option offered. You will have a full size bed and 3' x 6' table to yourself! This kind of set up isn't offered many places, especially at this price, which also covers your lodging for Friday AND Saturday nights! The price for my weekend events that include both the crop and your lodging is what you normally pay for the crop event alone at other places.

The information and registration information will be on the Mid South Scrappers website by Sunday night so check back for more information.

February 19th 'All Day and Into the Night Crop'

Melissa Brazelton isn't able to vend at our next crop so Vivian Kendall will be our Creative Memories Consultant for the event! I'm looking forward to meeting her AND she's also coming to the March Pajama Crop Party Weekend! She's come highly recommended by Melissa and Diane Dunagan.

Registrations have been coming in at a steady pace and the event is already half full! Please check your calendar and plan to come spend the day and night with us! March Pajama Crop Party Weekend!

We're just over 3 weeks away from the March Pajama Crop Party Weekend! And, there are only FOUR spaces left. (Please help me get those filled.) I've reserved a fifth cottage and have that one 3/4's full! This allows us the ability to have 40! croppers there! We also have several vendors there for you as well! The emails to the attendees will start going out the end of this week so don't get left behind! The 'Luxury Option' is $140 for your lodging and 6 ft of scrappin' space ... You can't beat it!

The cottages at Kirkwood are fantastic and you have plenty of room! Once you come, you won't want to miss another one! We have an awesome time!

We already have a few croppers planning ahead like I do! I know I've made some of my teachers very happy with these crop dates! They're going to get to come BOTH days as it falls in Spring Break! Ladies, Close To My Heart has changed the name of the 'Discontinued Items' tab to 'While Supplies Last' and they've added more great stuff! These items have been discontinued and will only be available while supplies last. I've already ordered once and looking to order again. There's even been more 'Rub-on's' added. Stamp Club Membership Has Definite Rewards!

We had our first month of Stamp Club in January! Tanya Allen graciously offered to be my guinea pig for this event and we both learned a lot! Tanya hosted a 'Virtual Gathering', all done via emails on the Internet and had a Gathering of almost $400! This gave her $60 in FREE product along with any one item in the catalog at 50% off! How awesome is that!

I tell you, there's just not enough hours in the day to do all that you or I want to do is there? I've taken this weekend to really nail down some projects that have been in desperate need of getting done and have accomplished quite a bit with even more to be posted!

My Mid South Scrappers and Close To My Heart businesses have really taken off and I have you croppers to thank for all of it! I am so grateful for all of you that come to the crops, weekends and workshops! You all have been instrumental in an amazing kick off to 2011 and I look forward to even more good things to come!

I've been in contact with Comfort Suites and have been allowed to use the Conference Room which is accessed through the Meeting Room! This gives us 6 more spaces! Since this crop is this Saturday, if you'd like to come, please email me and I'll put you down for one of those spaces. (You will be in a separate room but not totally away from everyone else.)

We will be on the 'honor system' for these spaces in that you're going to follow through with coming and not canceling at the last minute. You will need to print off a registration form to fill out and bring with you and your fee to the crop.

Advanced Card Workshop with Crop Time to Follow

at Kathy's in Olive Branch!

Saturday, February 12th from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Kathy's offered to host an 'Advanced Card Workshop' at her home in Olive Branch, MS. We will begin the day with a small advanced card workshop, making three cards/two of each one for a total of six cards. I believe this will take us from 10 a.m. until noon. We'll have lunch and then spend the rest of the time cropping on whatever you bring to work on.

Kathy and I will provide your lunch, a few snacks and beverages for the day. Your fee for this crop is $30. This fee includes your lunch, snacks and beverages and your workshop materials with the exception of you bringing your own adhesives.

A couple of things to consider ~
You must have done some card workshops before as we'll be moving right along. We'll be making a total of 6 cards in two hours!

There's only room for six croppers.

You need to email me independently for the registration form in order to attend.

Since the January 29th 'All Day and Into the Night Crop' filled up prior to being able to use the Conference Room I've booked another crop! The Registration/Information form will go up on the Mid South Scrappers website, www.midsouthscrappers.com, next Sunday. I believe in giving crop and weekend attendees first dibs on their space for the following event, so any spaces not taken, will be up for grabs beginning Sunday.

I will have a Close To My Heart Workshop to offer but it's too soon for a decision as to what's that is going to be at this time.

I believe the previous attempt for this crop was too close after Christmas. While several of us were ready for some serious cropping time, not everyone was able to do so. Plus, there were several that couldn't come on Friday due to jobs, etc. so there are prices per day or a combined rate if you can come for both!

The Registration/Information form will be loaded on the Mid South Scrappers website this afternoon or you can email me and I'll send you one, either way is fine.

Thrifty Option No Longer Available

The 'Thrifty Option', that of sharing a bed and table with another cropper will no longer be available for all future weekends. Due to lack of interest, I will no longer offer this option. The people that have tried this previously have always upgraded to the 'Luxury Option' on their return.

Since this is not a 'big hit' with you croppin' ladies, I don't believe this will be a problem.

Jackson/Vicksburg Area Weekend Crop ...

Your Feedback is Needed!

I am in the process of putting together a weekend crop down in the Jackson/Vicksburg, MS area and need your feedback! I would like to hear from my clients that live in that area that would be interested in attending.

I also need vendors that would be interested in setting up a booth. This event is tentatively set for the end of September. I'm specifically looking for a Creative Memories Consultant, a scrapbook store or two and a clothing/t-shirt vendor.

I believe we'll be able to accommodate up to 50 croppers at this event with everyone having an entire 6 foot table to themselves.

Hello Mid South Scrappers and CTMH Clients!

January is almost over and February is rushing right in. With that has been more snow fall than we've seen around the Mid South in quite a few years and they are forecasting more! I think we're all pretty much ready for it to all move on and our normal climate to regain control.

While this newsletter is dedicated to Close To My Heart information, I will be sending out another newsletter in the next week or so with new crop dates and updates on the March Pajama Crop Party Weekend. I've got several emails out for crop and workshop dates, so you'll be looking forward to the next newsletter.

January Stamp of the Month ends 1/31/11!

If you've checked out the January Stamp of the Month, you may have been scratching your head like I was. However, upon trying to enter a CTMH Blog Hop, I 'had' to come up with something and look how it turned out! There's SO much that you can do with this stamp set when you start playing with it and you should see what other CTMHer's came up with! Amazing! This is a 'TriShutter Card' and the instructions on how to make it can be found on Split Coast Stampers. It's not as hard as it looks! It takes more planning on where to put what than anything. The January "Inspirations" catalog also ends on 1/31/11! Along with it are the specials offered on the five stamps sets in this little catalog when you purchase the "Wings Workshop on the Go". If you opt to purchase the Wings WOTG and all five stamp sets, you will save $25.75 over the stamp sets alone! This automatically qualifies you for the January Stamp of the Month FREE which brings your savings up to $48.70! What a deal! You don't have to buy all five stamp sets, you can pick and choose. Let me explain what a 'Workshop on the Go' is ... You get a Level 2 Paper Pack, a B-Sized Stamp Set (only available with that WOTG) and another item, usually an embellishment or other item for embellishing. You CAN NOT buy those stamp sets out right, which also adds a great value and draw for the WOTG's. The WOTG's are located on pages 24 - 25 of the Autumn/Winter 2010 Catalog.
