This is your registration form for the Mid South Scrappers (MSS) “All Day and Into the Night Crop” for January 16, 2010. The cost for the crop is $40.00 per person if paid by January 2, 2010 and $45.00 if paid at the door, space permitting. There are 24 spaces to be had at this event! We will have a maximum of three vendors at this event. There are no “write me down’s” due to lack of fulfillment and participation as well as the limited number of spaces available.
Referring New Croppers … How about some rebates! In an effort to really get the word out about these crops and fill the seats so that they can continue, I’d like to offer you a rebate for new event customers! For each new person that you refer, i.e. someone that has never been to one of my events (weekend or crop) and registers to come to a crop, you will receive a $5.00 rebate for each person up to $25.00 per crop towards your next crop fee.
This is an All-Inclusive Crop! Your fee includes all snacks and beverages for the day as well as your lunch and dinner. Beverages that are provided are Coke, Diet Coke, coffee and bottled water. Lunch is Chicken Salad, chips and pickles. Dinner is Mexican Casserole and all the trimmings.
You will have an entire 6 foot x 18 inch table to yourself. (I call these seminar tables.) I strive to sit all croppers within their group. Tables are grouped together in pods of six with four pods in the room. Please note: If you are going to bring your Cricut, Silhouette or other electronic equipment, please bring an extension cord to plug it in. Let me know if you’re planning on bringing something requiring electricity so I can sit you near a plug. You will also need to dedicate a portion of your crop space for it.
New policy from Hampton: Music is no longer allowed to be played in the Meeting Rooms due to hotel rooms being across the hall and next to the Meeting Room(s). If you’d like to bring your radio or Ipod and earplugs, you are welcome to do so.

New Blog for Mid South Scrappers ...
Hello and Welcome to our newest endeavor! I say "our" as my husband is responsible for creating this Blog along with our new website, www.midsouthscrappers.com, which was created almost a month ago. While I'm the dedicated cropper, Glynn is very instrumental in helping me further my goals and aspirations.
I started scrapbooking about 13 years ago and looked forward to the monthly Friday night crops at Georganne's house. However, trying to gear down from the day at work and start cropping found me often having to pack it up and head home when just when I'd really gotten those creative juices flowing. It was out of my desire for the extended crops and weekends that Mid South Scrappers was created and run through Yahoo since October 2006. Since we're located just outside of Memphis, TN and I crop with girls from Mississippi, Arkansas and Tennessee, the name "Mid South Scrappers" seemed to fit the bill.
I've held several all day crops and weekend retreats since the group's formation in October 2006. Our 2010 schedule of events will kick off with an "All Day and Into the Night Crop" held at the Hampton Inn in Olive Branch, MS. Our first weekend retreat will be a "Pajama Crop Party" held at Kirkwood Cottages in Holly Springs, MS the weekend of March 26th.
